I fell in love with pole fitness the moment I walked into my first class more than five years ago. I first took a random intro class as a way to lose weight, and immediately became hooked with growing strong and learning all I could as quickly as possible. I started teaching at Studio Phoenix in Chicago shortly thereafter and became a senior instructor for three years before moving to Florida and most recently here to San Diego (my husband is in the navy).
I would describe my pole style as sexy/strong. I love to feel the music and get lost in the flow of a great song, and my acrobatic and competitive background also draws me to the more athletic and powerful pole tricks. I hope to learn and continue growing as a dancer while sharing my knowledge and assisting my students in their own pole progress. Watching my students learn tricks, nail nemesis moves and make progress is so incredibly rewarding to me.
Outside of pole fitness and aerial arts, I work as a personal trainer and compete in bikini body building contests. I am also part of a Burlesque dance group in Kearny Mesa. I am eager to share my love of dance, artistry and athleticism with my students and hopefully spark the kind of love for aerial arts that I felt all those years ago that I still feel today!
