Kelci has over 20 years of dance experience. She received her dance training primarily in the New England area and has had the privilege of taking master classes with some of the top dancers of our time. Kelci has attended many dance workshops throughout the years, including S.H.I.P. (Student Honor Intensive Program) which is held by Dance Master’s of America in Buffalo, N. Y. She holds both regional and national titles and has been awarded many HIGH SCORE awards and scholarships on both the regional and national level.
Kelci began teaching dance classes as an assistant dance teacher when she was 12 years old at her mother’s dance studio, Dance Mechanix School of Dance in Charlton, MA. She later was given the chance to teach her own classes and choreograph solo and group routines for competition. Upon graduating from high school, Kelci was accepted to the University of Massachusetts Boston. She received the Chancellor’s Award for Art, for her dancing ability and performance. After a year, Kelci chose to relocate to San Diego, CA where she plans to continue her dance training and career.
Today Kelci holds the position of Co-Director at a second studio owned by her mother, Revival Academy of Dance in Rochdale, MA. She spends numerous hours conferencing about decisions that affect the overall success of the business, as well as provides choreography and education to the company level students. Kelci has been awarded numerous awards for her choreography, and her dancers have received many high scores at the regional and national level. Kelci continues to study dance both on the East and West coast. She enjoys sharing her dance knowledge and hopes to continue to inspire dancers of all ages.
